Principle Lee Carnegie started in the sports industry with her love for Sailing, Snow and Yoga in 1999.
In 2004 she suffered a major skiing accident that would change her perspective on modern-day traditional health techniques versus alternative therapy options and has been an ongoing post-injury obsession and love affair.
From rehabilitation to walk, terrible prescription of pain relief medication and many specialists over the years Lee decided alternative therapy options were needed. Chinese massage, acupuncture, cupping coupled with Yoga and Pilates created the foundation for her rehabilitation and a personal transformation journey post-injury. Which today is now used mostly for the continued management of her injury to maintain the various sporting activities that are highly taxing on her body.
Because of this experience and knowledge, she turned to where she could best teach her techniques and spent time in education. 2017 she became a qualified personal trainer in pre and postnatal, pilates rehabilitation specialist, massage therapist, advanced cupping therapy, yoga fit, vinyasa, yin, pilates, aerial, strength/conditioning coach and nutritionist she brings together the embodiment of what Body Therapist is.
